What are the eligibility requirements?

To apply for Disrupt Gives Rental Relief, an applicant must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

  • Households must have income at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
  • The applicant and or the applicants household has received a rent notice or eviction notice in the unit for which he/she/they are requesting assistance
  • The applicant must be renting an apartment unit under Emerge Living

What's needed to apply?

You must complete the following two steps to be considered:

  1. Take the Personal Finance Video Course found HERE
  1. The fully completed and signed Disrupt Gives Rental Assistance Program Application Form, which is found HERE

How long until I find out if I was approved for rental assistance?

You will find out if you were approved for rental assistance from Disrupt Gives anywhere between 1 and 2 months from the initial submission of your application.

How will rental assistance be made?

If your application is approved, your rental relief funds will be sent to your property, who will then apply directly to your account.

How will I be notified of approved rental assistance?

Upon the approval of your application, the resident and property manager will receive an approval
email from a Disrupt Gives associate providing a breakdown of awarded fund approved for rental assistance, along with the estimated timeline of the rental credit after approval.
